Patricia Ann McNair’s short story collection, THE TEMPLE OF AIR, was selected as the Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year, and as Southern Illinois University Devil’s Kitchen Readers Awardee. She directs the undergraduate programs in Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago, where she is an associate professor in fiction and nonfiction undergraduate and graduate programs. McNair won the Excellence in Teaching Award at Columbia College Chicago and was nominated for the Carnegie Foundation’s U.S. Professor of the Year.
