Kira K. Homsher is a writer from Philadelphia, currently living in Los Angeles. Her stories and essays have appeared in Kenyon Review Online, Indiana Review, Passages North, The Offing, Longreads, DIAGRAM, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Virginia Tech, where she received the University Writing Program Outstanding GTA award in recognition of her teaching, and has been awarded residencies at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts and the Ragdale Foundation. She has held editorial positions with The Believer, Carve Magazine, X-R-A-Y Lit Mag, and the minnesota review. She is currently at work on a first novel and a short story collection.
