Ellen Lindner (she/her/they/them) is a cartoonist, illustrator, educator and editor living in New York City. Her illustration clients have included McGraw Hill, Dotdash Meredith, Lotic.AI, Workman, Bloomsbury, Ernest and Julio Gallo Wines, and the City of New York, for whom she created a series of animations that ran on TV and web during the summer of 2020. She has created comics for The Museum of Modern Art, The Washington Post, Medium.com, The Lily, World War III Illustrated, and for many anthologies and collections. Ellen is the author of two graphic novels, the artist for a third, and is currently working on Lost Diamonds, a comics history of gender rebellion in American Baseball. Her activist art is in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution, and she is a two-time LMCC grant winner for her work in comics education.
