Amanda Rizkalla is recent Steinbeck Fellow and Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing Fellow. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and appears in Boston Review, No Tokens Journal, and elsewhere. After graduating from Stanford University, she received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she was the 2020-21 Kemper Knapp Fellow. She has been a writer-in-residence at Hedgebrook, Djerassi, Blue Mountain Center, Monson Arts, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and Mountain Words, and has received support from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund and the Pruitt-Meinke Fellowship.
