Make a commitment to Ragdale to help support our programs and maintain our historic campus.

Ragdale is a nonprofit artists’ community that supports important new creative work on a beautiful 5-acre campus. It offers a retreat setting, uninterrupted time for dedicated work, dynamic artist exchanges, supportive staff, and a family-style dinner each evening.

This free program makes the most of Ragdale’s vast creative network of art and design professionals as well as our historic 5-acre campus to provide an engaging retreat and “arts lab” for teachers and students. We match outstanding creative professionals with the needs of schools in a series of onsite and offsite programs that foster healthy self-expression, community engagement, cultural exchange, and career development. Available to all regional schools, with an emphasis on underserved communities in Lake County.

The Ragdale Foundation maintains the historic Shaw House, Barn House, Friends’ Studio, Meadow Studio, and grounds. The Ragdale House was recently renovated in 2012; the Barn House was last renovated in 2005.

Join us to champion arts education, make new friends, and nurture the groundbreaking artists of our time. Learn more

“Peter and I support Ragdale because we firmly believe in the Foundation’s mission. We respect the work, experimentation and creative ideas of Ragdale’s Executive Director and his tireless staff. They have accomplished so much with their new explorations and renewed vision. It’s thrilling.”
