Lei Wang has been at varying times a science journalist in Hong Kong; a happiness researcher in Florida; a private investigator in San Francisco; and a life coach and translator in Shanghai. She graduated from the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa, and is currently living, writing, and traveling to other worlds in Iowa City.
