Ruxandra Guidi has been telling stories in public radio, magazines, and multimedia for over fifteen years. She’s reported extensively throughout Latin America, having been a freelance foreign correspondent in Bolivia (2007-2009) and in Ecuador (2014-2016). Currently, she is president of the board of Homelands Productions, a journalism nonprofit cooperative founded in 1989, and a member of Fonografia Collective, a collaboration with her husband, photographer Bear Guerra. She also consults regularly as a writer, editor and translator for a variety of clients in the Western Hemisphere. Currently, she’s collaborating with KCRW Public Radio on a year-long storytelling project about aging in Los Angeles.
