Aaron Scott is a producer/reporter for the weekly arts radio show State of Wonder on Oregon Public Broadcasting, where his stories have won Edward R. Murrow, Gracie, and APTRA’s Mark Twain awards for writing and use of sound.

Before joining OPB, Aaron was senior editor at Portland Monthly, where he orchestrated the magazine’s arts coverage and wrote narrative features. He has filed stories for Radiolab, This American Life, NPR, and Out Magazine. Aaron has masters degrees in broadcast journalism and science writing from Columbia University and a degree in religious studies from Grinnell College, and he spent a number of polyphonic years directing publicity for the band Pink Martini.
